Joint National Project
Veterans of Foreign Wars and other Veteran Service Organizations
The Joint National Project is voted on by both Silver Wings and Arnold Air Society every year at the National Conclave. It is a way for the members of AAS and SW to come together and support our communities through a joint effort. This year’s JNP is supporting veterans and their families, specifically with the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
There are many different ways to get involved with the JNP. There are activities provided through the Silver Wings National Activities Officer and the Arnold Air Society National Director of Operations as well as individual efforts made by making connections in local communities. With the VFW having over 6,000 posts around the country and the American Legion having over 12,000, there are plenty of opportunities to contribute to the project.
Signature National Project
Supporting Accessibility and Disability
The Signature National Project is a project selected by the assembly of Silver Wings members every 3-5 years. The current SNP is supporting accessibility and disability. This project is a way to not only get service hours and help our communities but also to grow our identity as civilian supporters of our community.
